Feeling stuck with my progress... any tips for the last stretch?

TL;DR: Lost 33 lbs in 11 months, feeling stuck now, any tips to break through this plateau?

So, I've been on this journey for about 11 months now, and I went from 175 to 142 lbs! That's 33 lbs down, which is super exciting, but I feel like I'm hitting a plateau and I'm lowkey frustrated. I'm still lifting consistently and trying to eat right, but I guess I thought the last bit would be easier.

Has anyone else felt like this towards the end of their weight loss journey? What did you do to keep the momentum going? Any specific tips or tricks? I just want to finish strong!

i know the struggle! Have you considered focusing on your protein intake? Making sure you're hitting your protein goals can help maintain muscle while losing fat. And if you're feeling stuck, why not try tracking your meals for a week with something like Cronometer? It can help pinpoint any hidden calories or imbalances.

Sometimes, it's just a matter of shifting your mindset. Try focusing on how your body feels instead of just the scale. If you're feeling stronger, more energetic, that's progress! Also, mixing up your meals with gluten-free options can help with digestion and overall energy levels.

Yo, sometimes a plateau means you're just too comfortable. Push your limits! If you're not hitting any new PRs, it might be time to change your program. Consider trying different rep ranges or incorporating AMRAP sets. Keep it spicy!

You mentioned lifting consistently, which is great, but you might want to look at your form. Sometimes, improving your technique can lead to better muscle engagement, which can help break through plateaus. If you're not feeling your lifts, consider hiring a coach for a session or two to analyze your form.

As a lifting granny, I've seen many plateaus! It's all about patience. When I feel stuck, I like to change up my routine and focus on mobility work. Sometimes, a little yoga can do wonders for breaking through mental and physical barriers.

lmao, plateaus are the worst! If u're still lifting and eating right, maybe it's time to throw in some HIIT. Or just take a deload week. Sometimes ur body just needs a break. Don't let the scale mess with your head, it's not the only measure of progress.

Plateaus are like that annoying friend who just won't leave! 馃槀 But seriously, I faced one too. I added HIIT sessions and it really helped rev up my metabolism. Changing the intensity can shock your body back into fat loss mode. Plus, it's a fun way to mix things up!

Plateaus can be a sign of not enough cardio! I'd suggest incorporating more aerobic sessions to help push through that stubborn fat. Cardio is crucial for overall health and can help you break free from those annoying plateaus. Don't underestimate the power of a good sweat.

Don't let the scale define your worth! Just remember, muscle weighs more than fat. Focus on how you feel in your clothes and how much stronger you're getting. It's all about progress, not perfection.

I lift at night, so trust me, I get it. When I'm stuck, I usually do a mix of strength and cardio, but I also pay attention to my sleep. If you're not recovering well, that can hold you back. Make sure you're getting quality sleep, and don't be afraid to tweak your schedule for recovery!

Plateaus are tough, but they can be a sign that your body is adjusting. Have you tried tweaking your nutrition? Adding in more whole foods and focusing on nutrient-dense options can help break through. Also, consider adjusting your macros a bit, maybe increase your carbs slightly if you're feeling sluggish.

this. It's a total mind game. I was so stuck for a few months, and the moment I focused on how I felt rather than the scale, things changed! Maybe try taking some time to celebrate non-scale victories? Like strength gains or better energy levels.

Low sugar intake can help! It's made a huge difference for me. I reduced my sugar and focused on whole, satisfying meals. Have you tried making some low-sugar recipes? They can be both delicious and fulfilling, helping you stay on track without feeling deprived.

Plateaus can feel discouraging, but remember to be kind to yourself. Maybe try intuitive eating for a bit, especially if tracking feels overwhelming. Listen to your body's hunger cues and focus on nourishing yourself rather than stressing over numbers. It can be a refreshing change!

I completely understand how frustrating plateaus can be. I hit one around the same point in my journey too. For me, changing up my workout routine helped a lot. I switched from doing the same lifts to trying different variations and focusing on different muscle groups. Sometimes just a little tweak in your routine can make a big difference. Keep pushing through!

Reassess your lifting program, especially if you're plateauing. Maybe it's time for a structured deload week or to switch from a 5/3/1 approach to something like GZCL. Your body needs variety to keep adapting and improving.

Making sure you're eating clean can be a game-changer! I love doing Whole30 resets when I feel stuck. It helps eliminate cravings and helps you focus on whole foods. Have you thought about trying a 30-day clean eating challenge?
