Repkin ("we", "us") operates the community forum at repkin.app. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We try to be honest and brief.

What we collect

• Email address — only the email you provide to sign in with a magic link. We do not send marketing emails.
• Username and profile — the username and optional bio you choose. These are publicly visible alongside the content you post.
• Posts, comments, votes — content you publish on Repkin is publicly visible by design (that is what a forum is).
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, timestamps, and basic request information, automatically collected by our hosting providers for security, abuse prevention, and uptime.

What we do not collect

• We do not run advertising trackers.
• We do not sell your data.
• We do not require a real name or any identification.

How we use your data

• To operate the forum (display your posts, route magic-link emails, count votes).
• To prevent abuse, spam, and security issues.
• To improve product quality based on aggregate, non-identifying patterns.

Who we share it with

• Supabase — stores user accounts, posts, comments, and votes (our database and auth provider).
• Vercel — hosts the website (our hosting and CDN provider).
• We do not share your email or private information with third parties beyond these infrastructure providers.

Public content and AI crawlers

Repkin is designed to be open. Your posts, comments, and username are publicly readable by anyone — including AI training crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, Google-Extended, PerplexityBot, CCBot, etc.) that may use forum content. If you do not want your content to be public, do not post it.

Cookies

We use first-party session cookies for sign-in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

Data retention and deletion

Your account and content remain until you ask us to delete them. To request account deletion, email us (see Contact below). Note: comments and posts may persist anonymized (attributed to "[deleted]") so the surrounding discussion threads remain coherent for other users.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Email us and we will help.

Children

Repkin is intended for users 13 and older. Do not sign up if you are younger than 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date at the top will change. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
