Bulgarian split squats are my new fave for quad day! Anyone else loving these?

TL;DR: Loving Bulgarian split squats for quads, any form tips or rep schemes?

I started adding Bulgarian split squats to my routine and wow, they hit different! My quads are feeling the burn like never before. I usually do them with dumbbells, but any tips on form or rep schemes? How do you all program them into your PPL or other splits?

Don't be surprised if your legs feel like jelly the next day. DOMS will hit hard, especially if you're new to these. Just be careful with the weight. Don't push too hard too soon, or you'll regret it!
