Anyone else looking into CBD for recovery? Recent studies seem promising.
I've been lifting to destress lately and heard about CBD's potential for recovery. A recent review by Bjornson et al. in the Journal of Sports Medicine highlighted that CBD might reduce inflammation and improve recovery times, but the sample sizes were pretty small, mostly under 100 participants. The findings showed a moderate effect size (d=0.5) on pain relief and subjective recovery scores. Has anyone tried using CBD as part of their post-workout routine? What did you notice?
