First Physique Show Prep Journey: M28 Photos and Reflections
As I look back at my first physique show prep, I can't help but feel a mix of nostalgia and pride. It has been a challenging yet rewarding journey over the last 12 weeks. I started at 165 pounds, and after all the hard work, I stepped on stage at 145 pounds. The transformation has been incredible, both physically and mentally. I even hit a PR in my squat at 185 pounds last week, which felt fantastic!
It was a huge adjustment to my routine, especially with the diet and training intensity. I remember my younger days, training for track meets, and how much preparation mattered back then. It's funny how life comes full circle, as I find myself training with the same dedication but now at a different stage of life. Staying focused on my goals helped me push through the tough days.
I've learned so much about discipline, resilience, and the importance of community. The support from fellow competitors and friends was invaluable during this prep. I look forward to sharing more insights and experiences from this journey, and if anyone has tips for maintaining this momentum, I'm all ears. Let's keep motivating each other!
