Is investing in Captains of Crush worth it for grip strength?
I've been lifting for about 6 years and I can tell you that grip strength is one of those things that can really make or break your lifts. I mean, what good is a PR deadlift if your hands give out before you can lock it out? I'm considering picking up a set of Captains of Crush grippers to really focus on this area, but I'm wondering if they're worth the investment. Do they really help improve grip strength for compound lifts, or should I just stick to barbell holds and farmer's walks? Anyone here had solid results with them?
