Keto for 24 months, but my bloodwork took a hit, anyone else experience this?
I went full-on keto for 24 months, thinking I was nailing my nutrition and performance for calisthenics. I felt like a beast at first, but recently got my bloodwork back and it's not looking great. My cholesterol is through the roof and my doctor isn't exactly stoked about it.
I get that keto works for some, but was it just me or has anyone else felt the negative effects over time? I want to be strong and healthy, not just shredded! Looking for thoughts on how to adjust my macros moving forward, maybe even back to a more balanced diet?
Also, any tips on nutrient timing for bodyweight workouts would be fire!
