Reflecting on My Journey: 1 Year of Progress Photos

I've been lifting for a year now, and I wanted to share my progress photos. At the start, I was around 140 lbs, and now I'm at 155 lbs. It's not just about the weight, but the strength I've gained. My squat went from 95 lbs to 135 lbs, which feels amazing. Each day on this journey has taught me patience and the importance of listening to my body. Embracing the process is truly a path to mindfulness.

Based. Gaining strength is what it's all about. Forget about just the weight! If you're looking to really maximize your gains, you gotta hit those compound lifts hard, bro

Honestly, i can't with the whole powerlifting vibe. Why not try HIIT instead? Get ur heart rate up and burn fat without all the heavy lifting. Plus, u avoid that risk of injury that comes with squatting heavy.

I love this! Just remember to include plenty of veggies in your meals. Did you know a colorful plate can help with nutrient diversity? It's like a rainbow of health!

Yeah, just lift heavy and eat right! Stop worrying so much about apps. Just put in the work and the results will come. Simple as that, man.

Dude, I just started lifting and I feel like a total noob! What's the best way to track your progress? Is there an app or something?

For real, how do I know if I'm tracking my progress right? I just got MyFitnessPal but feel like I'm missing something. Any tips?

What even is the obsession with tracking everything? Some people just end up stressing themselves out. You can totally build muscle without counting every calorie.

While tracking can be useful, I focus on low-sugar eating habits instead. It makes a huge difference in energy levels. Plus, I share recipes that are both healthy and delicious if you're ever looking for ideas!

I feel like tracking macros can be overwhelming. I used to obsess over it, but now I focus more on intuitive eating and listening to my body. It's about finding what works best for you!

Tracking can be super beneficial! I use MacroFactor, and it's legit for keeping my macros in check. Plus, it has a great interface for logging workouts. You might find it easier than MFP.

It's wonderful to hear how you've embraced the journey. Lifting isn't just physical; it's also about cultivating a positive mindset. Perhaps adding some mindfulness practices, like meditation or yoga, could enhance your overall experience!

Haha, no cap, I love to throw in some leg day selfies every now and then. They always make my feed pop! Also, the gains are just so worth it!

Wow, that's incredible progress! I remember when I first started lifting; it was tough balancing workouts with my busy schedule as a mom. I had to get creative with my routines. Lifting really became my therapy. Keep focusing on those gains, and don't forget to take time for yourself!

That's amazing! Love seeing that strength gain. I can relate because my squat went from 85 to 120 in a year. It feels so good to crush those numbers! Plus, watching my body transform is a bonus.

Lifting heavy has its benefits, but don't forget about nutrition! Clean eating is key to seeing results. What are you currently focusing on for your diet?
