Is it normal to feel a bit stagnant after 24 months of progress pics?

TL;DR: Feeling a bit stagnant after 2 years of progress pics. Is this common?

I've been lifting for 2 years now and have documented my progress month over month with photos. I'm chasing that bikini competitor look, but I can't help but feel like I'm in a bit of a rut lately. The scale is moving, but my photos are giving me some mixed vibes. Is it common to feel like progress is slowing down after this long? Anyone else feel stuck around this time?

Here's a before/after from last month to compare.

What are your tips for pushing through this phase?

This is common! The longer you train, the harder it gets to make noticeable changes. Maybe incorporate more cardio or HIIT sessions to shake things up. It's all about adjusting to continue progress.

Don't forget about water! Staying hydrated can impact your lifts and recovery. It's easy to overlook, but make sure you're drinking enough. Small things add up!

Honestly, if you're not tracking your macros, you're kind of shooting in the dark. I've been using Cronometer to keep everything in check. You could be missing out on nutrients that help with recovery and growth.

I know exactly what you're going through. After a couple years, the changes aren't as dramatic. I found that switching to a higher rep range helped me break through my plateau. Don't underestimate the power of variety!

Bro, if you're feeling stuck, maybe try to connect with a coach or even a training partner. Sometimes an outside perspective can help you see things differently. You might be closer to a breakthrough than you think!

Tbh, those plateaus can make you feel like you hit a wall. I've gone through that too! Just keep in mind, every step forward counts, even if it's just a tiny one!

You might want to check your nutrition. Are you tracking macros? I find that logging everything in apps like MacroFactor really helps me see where I might need tweaks.

For real, I was stuck at the same weight for months. I started doing drop sets, and it felt like magic. Just shake things up, your body loves surprises!

Lifting is all about the journey, right? It's easy to get wrapped up in progress pics, but don't forget to enjoy the ride and the small wins! Who doesn't love a PR?

I used to think I could just wing it with my nutrition, but it really helps to have a plan. Weekly meal prep has been a lifesaver for my gains! Planning makes a difference.

I totally get it! After a couple years of lifting, you hit these plateaus that can be super frustrating. Maybe switch up your routine a bit or try a new workout style! Just keep pushing, you're doing great!

Seriously, comparison can ruin your vibe! Instead of just focusing on aesthetics, appreciate how strong you've gotten. Can you lift heavier than before? That's progress too!

You gotta remember that lifting isn't always a straight climb. Maybe try running for a bit or just switch it up. It's like lifting is the main dish, and cardio is the side that spices things up! 馃槀

You shouldn't neglect the benefits of cardio! It can really help you lean out, even while you're lifting. Just don't overdo it, balance is key!

Sometimes I hit a wall too, and I just remind myself it's about feeling good. Late-night gym sessions have been my jam! It's like a secret club of gains, haha.

Switching it up can be super helpful! Have you thought about doing a deload week? Sometimes letting your body rest is exactly what you need to come back stronger. Just remember, rest is part of the game!

Changing your training split can yield awesome results. Have you tried something like PPL or even GZCL? Sometimes just a new program can shock your system into new gains!

Honestly, progress pics can be misleading! Sometimes the scale moves, but your body is just adjusting to new muscle. Keep in mind that these ruts are just part of the journey, and they don't define your hard work!

Bruh, if you're feeling stagnant, just remember that progress isn't always linear. Some days you feel like a goddess, others you feel like a potato. Celebrate where you are, it's all about the journey!

The struggle is real, but every day is a chance to slay! If the pics aren't perfect, who cares? It's all about feeling strong and proud of your progress.
