Carb cycling for 60 days, how's my lift performance supposed to be by day type?
I've been carb cycling for about 60 days now and I'm really curious about how it affects my lift performance depending on the day type. I've noticed my strength seems to peak on high-carb days, especially for my deadlifts, which is my main focus. On low-carb days, I feel like I struggle a bit but I've heard it's normal.
For context, my split is a 4-day PPL routine, and I align my carbs with my heavy lifting days. I'm averaging around 450g on high days and dropping to 150g on low days. I'm just trying to get the most out of this cycle. Anyone have insights on how to maximize performance while carb cycling? What should I be expecting as I continue? Let's hear your experiences!
