Excited to share my progress with vitamin D levels! Anyone else tracking theirs?

TL;DR: Raised vitamin D levels from 18 to 52 ng/mL in 4 months with specific protocols

In just 4 months, I raised my vitamin D levels from 18 to 52 ng/mL! I followed a protocol that included regular sun exposure, a quality vitamin D3 supplement, and consistent testing to track progress. It feels amazing to finally be in a healthy range. Anyone else made similar gains or have tips to share? I'm all ears for what worked for you.

Nice job, but if you're on a budget, those fancy supplements can add up quick. I just go for a decent D3 from the drugstore and spend my cash on good food. Whole foods are still the best source!

That's fantastic progress! If you're ever looking for meal ideas to help boost vitamin D, consider making a salmon and avocado salad. Salmon is a great source of vitamin D and healthy fats, plus it's super tasty. Just add some greens and a squeeze of lemon.

Love seeing this kind of progress! I just signed up for a 5k, and I'm trying to stay on top of my nutrition too. Gotta make sure those vitamin D levels are in check so I can crush my race.

This is wild, but I still just can't with the sunbathing. I'm more about that squat life. But I mean, if you can balance both, go for it. Just don't forget the sunscreen!

That's awesome! I was in the same boat a while back. I was at 19 ng/mL and upped mine to 50 in a few months. Definitely feel the difference, especially with my workouts.

I hear you on the sunlight part. I always take a walk during my lunch breaks to soak up some rays, and I feel great. Just gotta avoid burning out in the summer!

So glad to hear you're feeling better! I'm always trying to balance my kids' schedules with my training. We go for nature walks on weekends; it's great family time and helps with our vitamin D levels too.

That's inspiring! I recently started tracking my vitamin D and found that certain foods like fortified milk and mushrooms really help. You can get creative with recipes too, try a mushroom risotto or a creamy soup. The more you can incorporate those foods, the better.

Tracking vitamin D is cool and all, but I think people overcomplicate it sometimes. Just get outside when the sun's out, eat right, and you'll be fine. No need for all the fuss.

Raising vitamin D levels can have significant benefits. When I tracked mine with Cronometer, I found that supplementing around 5,000 IU daily combined with sunlight exposure really helped. Consistency is key here, plus testing every few months to see how your body responds.

Glad to hear you're in the clear! Just hit a 500 lb deadlift last week myself, and I swear, having decent vitamin D levels helps with recovery. Keep doing what works for you!

I feel you on that progress! When I got my levels checked and they were low, I made it a priority to get more sun. Plus, my kids think it's hilarious when we sunbathe in the backyard, win-win!
