Did my first deadlift PR today, 225 lbs after 4 months! Is that good for a newbie?

TL;DR: Hit a 225 lbs deadlift PR after 4 months, good for a newbie?

Hey fam, just hit a 225 lbs deadlift for my new PR after 4 months of lifting! I'm feeling like a beast, but is this a solid number for a newbie like me? I mean, pancakes fuel my gains but I wanna make sure I'm on the right track. Any advice or tips for a newbie? 馃

Hitting a PR like that in four months is impressive! Just remember, everyone progresses at their own pace. Keep focusing on your overall strength, not just the deadlift. Consistency is key!

I mean, 225 lbs is decent for a newbie, but don't get too cocky. I've seen people hit 300 lbs within their first few months. Just remember to keep pushing yourself and not to skip leg day!

That's awesome! I remember hitting my first PR, it felt incredible! Just keep challenging yourself and celebrate every little win along the way. Your gains are gonna keep stacking.

This is fire! But, like, did you consider how many pancakes you need to eat to keep up this strength? 馃槀 In all seriousness, just stay consistent with your lifts and nutrition, and you'll crush your next PR.

While 225 lbs is good, make sure you're lifting with proper RPE (Rate of Perceived Exertion). It's not just about the weight, but how you feel while lifting. Aim for a balance between heavy lifting and maintaining good form to prevent injuries.

Congrats on hitting 225 lbs! For a newbie, that's solid progress after just 4 months. It's important to focus on your form now as you continue to increase your weight. I always tell my clients, the weight will come as long as your technique is on point.

225 lbs is a good starting point. If you keep tracking your macros and maintaining a caloric surplus, you'll see even better gains. Just make sure you're getting enough protein to support muscle recovery!

Facts, that's a solid number. Just remember to caffeinate before your lifts. It's all about that energy! Keep smashing those weights, bro.
