Feeling conflicted about my progress: lost 8 lbs of fat but gained 5 lbs of muscle, is that good?
I've been working hard for the last three months, and I recently lost 8 lbs of fat while gaining 5 lbs of muscle. I have before and after photos to share, but I'm feeling a bit unsure about how to interpret this progress. I know body composition changes are good, but is it normal to feel mixed emotions? Anyone else experienced this kind of shift? How do you measure success when your numbers are all over the place?
