Dropped caffeine cold turkey for 30 days, now my lifts and sleep are all over the place. What gives?
So, I decided to drop caffeine cold turkey a month ago, thinking it would help my anxiety and overall mental health. The first week was a nightmare; I was so tired I could've been a zombie in a low-budget horror flick. Now, a month in, I've noticed my sleep is still a mixed bag, and my lifts? Let's just say I've been more of a marshmallow than a powerhouse lately.
Before I quit, I was hitting some decent numbers, but now I feel like I'm squatting with a bag of flour instead of weights. My sleep data shows I'm getting a bit more time in bed, but it's like my brain's on a perpetual rollercoaster of restlessness. I'm wondering if my body's just adjusting or if caffeine withdrawal is actually screwing with my nutrient timing and energy levels. Has anyone else gone through this? Is there a light at the end of this caffeine-free tunnel, or am I just destined to live in this fatigue limbo forever?
