Struggling with macros as an Amazon warehouse worker, need advice!

TL;DR: Need tips on managing macros and protein intake while working at Amazon and lifting.

I've been powerlifting for 6 years and I'm currently hitting about 4000 calories a day, but balancing my macros is a challenge with my job at Amazon. Between lifting and being on my feet all day, I want to make sure I'm fueling properly, but it's tough to plan meals around my shifts. What strategies do you guys use for hitting your protein targets and staying within your macros while working a physically demanding job? Any tips on food prep or quick meals that won't derail my nutrition goals?

As someone who's adapted due to chronic illness, I can relate to the struggle with meal timing and macros. One thing that helps is always carrying protein-rich snacks, like nuts or protein bars. It can prevent energy crashes and keep your protein intake up.

If you're lactose intolerant, don't forget there are plenty of dairy-free protein sources! I love using almond milk with my protein shakes. So much easier than feeling bloated after regular dairy.

When I was working a physically demanding job, meal prep became crucial for hitting my macros. I'd batch-cook chicken and rice on Sundays and pack them for the week. Consider adding some high-protein snacks like beef jerky or protein bars to keep you fueled during long shifts.

I get the struggle! On my busiest days, I pack high-protein wraps with turkey or chicken and lots of veggies. It's super easy to eat on the go and keeps me on track with my macros.

You might want to try meal prepping some protein-rich meals that are easy to heat up. I do overnight oats with protein powder or Greek yogurt for quick snacks. It's simple, quick, and keeps my macros in check.

It's all about finding what works for you! I'm not a fan of tracking all the time, but using something like MacroFactor made it easier to hit my protein targets without overcomplicating things. If you can, give it a shot.

Honestly, just focus on getting enough calories in! Track if you want, but sometimes just eating what you can during your shift is good enough. No point stressing over perfect macros when you're working hard!

Bro, just hit up some pizza on your breaks. Not saying it's the best, but you gotta eat, right? Just don't go full cheat day unless you've earned it.

Ngl, I sometimes just shove a protein bar in my pocket and call it a day. Pizza or not, if u're on the go, it's all about convenience! Food doesn't have to be fancy
