Full body 3x with low recovery, am I asking for trouble?

TL;DR: Full body 3x a week is wrecking my recovery, what should I do?

I've been hitting full body 3x a week but my recovery is in the dumpster. My lifts are lagging and I'm feeling wiped out. Should I scale back or is there a way to make this work? Anyone else dealing with this crap?

Full body 3x a week? You trippin'. If you're feeling wrecked, listen to your body, man. I did that for a bit and thought I was gonna die. Switched to a PPL split, and I'm feeling way better.

Y'all are soft, lol. If you're not recovering, you just need to eat more protein! I down a whey shake right after my workouts and smash meals throughout the day. Recovery is just as important as lifting heavy.

If you're feeling wiped out, it might be time to scale back a bit. Full body 3x a week can be intense, especially if you're not recovering well. Maybe switch to 2x a week and see how that feels.

Recovery is a huge part of strength training. If you're lagging in your lifts, it could be a sign that your body needs more rest. Look into your volume and intensity; if you're not tracking, you might be overdoing it without realizing

You might want to try reducing your training volume or intensity. When I first started full body workouts, I was burnt out too. Implementing lighter days or focusing on form rather than heavy weights helped me recover better.

Facts! I tried full body 3x and felt drained too. Switching to a 4-day split changed my game. Plus, having more time to focus on each muscle group helped with recovery. Don't feel bad about scaling back!

It's a skill issue if you're not adjusting your routine. Pay attention to your RPE during workouts, and don't be afraid to dial it back if needed. Recovery isn't just for the weak; it's part of the game.

Finding balance is key here. When I switched from full body to a split routine, my recovery improved drastically. Consider your sleep, nutrition, and stress levels as well. Sometimes, less is more, and allowing your body to adapt is essential.

Consider deloading for a week or two. A drop in volume can help you bounce back and make gains in the long run. Also, track your macros closely; if your protein intake is low, that could hinder recovery
