Menopause sleep wreckage, what helped you?

TL;DR: Struggling with sleep issues at 22, looking for menopause sleep solutions.

So, I'm 22 and already struggling with some major sleep issues, which feels like a plot twist I didn't ask for. I've been lifting for 3 years, and sleep has always been my not-so-secret weapon for recovery, but now it's like my body decided to throw a menopause party without the invitation. Insomnia, night sweats, and waking up feeling like I just ran a marathon in my dreams, yeah, not cool.

I'm wondering if any of you have found anything that actually helps? I've tried magnesium and melatonin, but I might as well be drinking water. Any tips on getting back to those sweet, sweet REM cycles?

You know, as a dad, I've had my share of sleepless nights too. It can be a total pain! One thing that helps me is sticking to a routine. Going to bed and waking up at the same time makes a huge difference.

Sleep is a fundamental aspect of recovery, and it can be frustrating when it doesn't cooperate. Have you considered tracking your sleep patterns with an app? Sometimes awareness can help pinpoint what's affecting your sleep, be it lifestyle or diet. Also, hydration plays a big role. I find that if I'm not drinking enough water during the day, I wake up feeling like a zombie.

Ugh, I feel you. My sleep was wrecked last year, and I thought I was losing my mind. Have you tried adjusting ur sleep environment? Sometimes just tweaking the temperature or blocking out light can help u get some better rest.

Sounds like you need a new sleep strategy, or maybe a new mattress! I'm no expert, but have you thought about sleep hygiene? Getting rid of screens before bed worked wonders for me.

I totally get it. Menopause-like symptoms can really mess with your sleep, even at a younger age. Have you thought about trying yoga or meditation before bed? It helped me chill out and clear my mind, which definitely made falling asleep easier

Yeah, it's a struggle! I had some rough nights when I was cutting, and my sleep went to hell. I started focusing more on my overall nutrition and found that eating a solid dinner helped me wind down better. Sometimes it's just about timing your meals right.

This is rough. My insomnia was a total nightmare last year. I ended up trying CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia). It's not a quick fix, but it works. Just a thought if you're feeling desperate.

Facts, sleep is crucial! But melatonin and magnesium? That's basic. You might wanna try ashwagandha or GABA. Those are legit for stress and anxiety, which can totally sabotage your sleep.

If you're waking up feeling wrecked, maybe consider what you're eating too. It can affect sleep cycles. Are you having late-night snacks or caffeine? Sometimes it's not just about what you take, but what u avoid too

Lowkey, a good playlist can be a lifesaver. Try some chill music or white noise. I got into this habit when I couldn't sleep, and now it's part of my nightly routine. Just don't forget to turn it off before you conk out!

Skill issue. Just lift heavier until you can sleep through anything. But fr, try not to overthink it too much. Sometimes your brain just needs to reset.
