Why do people act like meal prep has to be a full-on Sunday affair?

TL;DR: Meal prep doesn't need to be complicated! Try this quick Greek yogurt bowl instead

Look, I get it, some people love cooking for hours, but if you're like me and would rather sprint a 5k than make a five-course meal, I've got a quick high-protein recipe for ya!

Protein-Packed Greek Yogurt Bowl

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (220 kcal, 20g protein)
  • 1 scoop protein powder (120 kcal, 25g protein)
  • 1/2 cup mixed berries (40 kcal, 0.5g protein)
  • 2 tbsp honey (120 kcal, 0g protein)

Instructions:

  1. Mix the Greek yogurt and protein powder until smooth.
  2. Top with berries and drizzle honey.
  3. Eat in under 5 minutes bc we have places to be!

Total: 600 kcal, 45.5g protein.

Seriously, this slaps and takes no time. Long runs are hard enough; my meal prep doesn't have to be too.

Meal prepping should be about efficiency. Not everyone enjoys spending their entire Sunday cooking. It's about balance and making your nutrition work for you.

Bro, I could down this in between sets. 45g of protein for 600 kcal is a solid ratio. My recovery routine is already gonna include this.

Facts! I used to feel guilty about not meal prepping on Sundays. Now, I just whip up simple things like this yogurt bowl when I need fuel.

Honestly, prepping meals doesn't mean you have to spend all day in the kitchen. Just pick quality ingredients that provide solid nutrition. It doesn't always have to be fancy.

If you think about it, cooking doesn't have to be all-consuming. A solid protein meal can be prepared in no time if you keep it simple.

Also, if anyone's thinking about meal prep being boring, think about how you can mix flavors and textures! Keep it interesting. It's not about time but about creativity

Ngl, I could run a 5k before making a five-course meal too. I mean, who has that kind of time?

You know, there are days I just grab a shake instead of cooking. You don't need a huge meal prep to stay on track with nutrition

I travel a lot, and quick meals like this are lifesavers. Finding healthy options on the go can be tough, so I'm all for anything easy to throw together.

Ngl, I don't understand why people act like they have to become Gordon Ramsay just to eat healthy. Meal prep should fit your lifestyle, not the other way around. And if it takes more than 10 minutes, I'm out. 馃槀

Lemme break it down: Greek yogurt packs a serious protein punch, and with added protein powder, it's a muscle-building powerhouse. If you're serious about gains, this combo is clutch.

Lowkey love the creativity with this. Swap the berries for some nut butter and you got a whole new vibe.

100% agree! Meal prep doesn't have to be a marathon. I love throwing together simple bowls like this, especially after a workout.

Yep, meal prep doesn't need to take hours! Just make sure you're hitting your macros. I used to overcomplicate my meals, but keeping it simple has helped me stay consistent in the gym. Plus, you can still get creative without spending all day cooking.

I love how this recipe can easily be customized. My kids like adding nuts for some crunch. It's fun to make it their own while keeping it nutritious!

This looks great! Just be careful with the honey, it adds sugar, which can add up. But overall, I'm all for quick meals!

I used to think meal prep had to be super complicated, but I've found that simple meals are just as effective. This Greek yogurt bowl is a solid choice for a quick hit of protein. I'll probably add some nuts for healthy fats, tho
