Lifting through the dark times: does anyone else feel this way?
So, I hit my one year lifting mark and honestly, it's been a wild ride. I started lifting to cope with some heavy depression and like, it wasn't always pretty. My lifts went from a sad 65 lbs on the deadlift to 155 lbs, but the mental battles were way tougher. Looking at my progress pics, I can see the gains but man, that emotional weight was real. Anyone else feel like the gym saved them in some way?
