Is the fasted state really better for fat loss? I'm confused!
I've been hearing a lot about how working out in a fasted state is the best way to burn fat. As a busy mom, I barely have time to squeeze in my workouts, so I'm wondering if I should be hitting the gym on an empty stomach or if that's just a myth. Some studies, like the one by Horne et al. (2015), show that fasted cardio doesn't really increase fat oxidation compared to fed cardio. Does anyone have solid evidence or personal experiences on this? I just want to know what really works for fat loss with all my family obligations.
