How do I handle my ED recovery with a busy college schedule?

TL;DR: Need tips for managing ED recovery while balancing a busy college life.

I'm a 22F college student and I'm in recovery for an eating disorder. Balancing classes, work, and social life is hard, and I struggle with meal planning and staying on track with my recovery. Any tips on how to manage this while keeping my schedule in check? I really want to make progress but feel overwhelmed!

I totally get it! On busy days, I go for high-protein snacks like beef jerky or Greek yogurt, which you can take anywhere. Plus, I mix in a shake for an easy meal replacement if needed. Just be mindful of what you're choosing.

Meal planning is good but don't get too caught up in it. It's more about progress than perfection. Focus on getting in enough protein and carbs; they're essential. I track my meals sometimes, but only if I feel like it. No stress.

Meal prepping is a total lifesaver! I usually spend a couple of hours on Sundays to batch cook some easy meals. I keep them in the fridge for the week, which helps when I'm running between classes and work.

Honestly, recovery is tough, especially in college. You can have all the plans in the world, but life just slaps you with chaos. If you're feeling overwhelmed, try setting smaller, more manageable goals. Like just focusing on eating breakfast regularly instead of the whole day.

Great advice! But also, make sure to listen to your body. If it's a bad day, don't force a meal if you're not ready. Recovery isn't linear, so give yourself grace! I keep protein shakes around, just in case I need a quick source of nutrition.

Ngl, trying to eat healthy in college is like trying to find a unicorn. Between classes, parties, and those 3 AM pizza runs, it's a challenge. Meal prep is clutch, but if you don't have time, just grab protein bars or yogurt on the go. Better than starving, right?

Facts! I used to skip meals because I was too busy, but now I stash snacks everywhere. Like, my backpack, my car, even my dorm! Just quick stuff that doesn't need prep, fruit cups, nut packets, whatever gets me through the day.

This slaps! Don't forget to treat yourself too. Balance is key, so if you love pizza, make room for it in your week. I hit the gym harder after indulging, makes it feel like a reward instead of a guilt trip.
