DOMS is unreal after my first leg day, is this normal?

So I just crushed my first leg day and damn, the DOMS is hitting hard. Like, I can barely walk and sitting down is a whole production. Is this just part of the game or did I go too hard? Asking for a friend 馃槀.

yep, that's the leg day life, bro. DOMS just means you put in work, but don't go too hard next time, or you might not walk for a week.

this. If you stick to bodyweight movements, you can build strength without DOMS being too extreme. Just a thought for future leg days

This is pretty common for beginners. When you push your muscles harder than usual, you're bound to feel it. Just remember to gradually increase the intensity to avoid injury.

100%. And if you're tracking your nutrition, make sure you're hitting your protein goals. Helps with recovery and muscle growth. I personally like MacroFactor for that, super easy to use.

Honestly, leg day is like a love-hate relationship. You get wrecked but then feel like a beast. Just don't forget to hydrate and maybe do some light stretching.

People often underestimate the importance of recovery. DOMS can be a sign of effective training, but it shouldn't be an excuse to neglect mobility work or nutrition. Consider incorporating some foam rolling.

omg, same! i felt like I was doing a whole production just to sit down after my first leg day. Pro tip: treat yourself to some pizza after your workout. It helps, I swear
