My experience with MacroFactor has me frustrated, should I switch back to MyFitnessPal?
I've been using MacroFactor for a bit now, and while I appreciate its focus on tracking macros accurately, I'm seriously struggling with the math. As a vegan powerlifter, I put a lot of effort into my nutrition, but when it comes to calculating macros, I just can't deal with it. The whole point of using an app is to simplify things, right?
My main issue is that the app often asks for me to input specific percentages or grams for my macros, and I find myself stuck staring at the screen, overwhelmed and frustrated. I'm not a math whiz, I just want to eat well and lift heavy! I briefly tried MyFitnessPal again, thinking it might be easier, but I ran into so many ads and broken features that it just felt like a hassle.
Is there anyone else out there who has made the switch from MacroFactor back to MyFitnessPal or another app? Do you think there's a better option for someone who is not great at math? I'm really looking for something that simplifies tracking without all the complexity. Any suggestions would be super helpful!
