What's the best order for running and lifting on the same day?
I'm a caffeine addict and a lifter who's been grinding for six years. Recently, I've been trying to balance running and lifting on the same day, and I'm not sure about the order. Should I hit the weights first or get my run in before lifting?
I've heard different opinions on this. Some say lifting first keeps your strength intact for those heavy lifts, while others swear by getting cardio done first for better endurance. I usually lift heavy and do some moderate distance runs, so I want to make sure I'm optimizing my performance. Anyone with experience on this? What's worked for you?
