How much whey is too much? 3 scoops a day too spicy?

TL;DR: Is 3 scoops of whey protein too much for daily intake?

So, I'm on this whey grind and hitting 3 scoops a day, which feels like a solid move, right? But then I see these debates popping up about how much is too much. Some say I'm gonna end up with whey-splitting headaches (not the good kind) or digestive issues. I mean, I get that protein is crucial for gains, but is there such a thing as overdoing it with whey? I know guys who swear by one or two scoops but I'm just trying to fuel my 4x/week lifting sessions without going overboard. Any science or bro-science to back this up? Ngl, I'm just trying to avoid being that dude who's got whey for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Help me out, fam!

Facts, fam! I usually keep it around 2 scoops post-workout. Anything more, and I start feeling like a protein factory. Plus, there's plenty of great sources out there like chicken, eggs, and even Greek yogurt. Variety is key! 馃挭

Skill issue if you can't handle 3 scoops. Just kidding! But seriously, if you feel good, then who cares? Just don't forget your other food groups and you should be golden.

As a mom who's always juggling meals, I find 3 scoops is a bit excessive unless you're also eating plenty of other protein sources. You might wanna check for digestive issues, too, since too much protein can cause some stomach upset. Make sure you're balancing that out!

Omg, just be careful! I used to take 3 scoops too, but it made my tummy hurt. Now I love my smoothies with 1 scoop and add some spinach or frozen fruit for flavor. So yum! 馃崜

From a coaching perspective, 3 scoops isn't necessarily dangerous, but it can lead to excess protein if your overall intake is too high. Aim for 1.6-2.2 grams per kg of body weight if you're lifting heavy. Keep an eye on your total daily protein from all sources, and make sure you're tracking that. Also, high protein intake can stress your kidneys if you have underlying issues

If you're lifting 4x a week, make sure you're hitting your macros. 3 scoops can work for some, but don't forget whole food sources! I hit my protein targets with chicken and eggs, then I use whey as a cherry on top. But 3 scoops? That's a protein party!

3 scoops seems a bit much, not gonna lie. I usually stick to 1 or 2 after my workouts, but I've heard some guys say anything above 1.5 grams per kg of body weight is where the magic starts to fade. Have you tracked how much protein you're getting from whole foods too?

Lmao, bro, just don't be that dude who smells like whey. 3 scoops might give you the gains, but your digestive system might send you packing. Just saying.

I mean, if you're lifting hard, who's to say 3 scoops is too much? Just make sure you aren't turning into a protein pizza! 馃槀 Find the balance that works for you, but don't ignore those veggies.
