What supplements are must-haves on a $50/month budget?

Yo, so I'm a college student tryna keep my gains while balancing that broke life. I run like crazy and wanna know what supplements are actually essential on a budget like mine. I was thinking about creatine (mono over HCL, right?), protein, maybe some caffeine for energy, and stuff like ashwagandha to chill out. What do y'all recommend that won't break the bank? I'm all ears!

Honestly, I'd recommend focusing on whole food sources first, like chicken, beans, and oats. Supplements can help, but they shouldn't be your main source of nutrition. Keep your macros in check, it's super important.

Creatine mono is a solid choice, you can't go wrong there. It's backed by tons of research and really helps with muscle recovery and gains. Just make sure you stay hydrated, or you'll be feeling like a raisin, lol.

You should also consider a multivitamin if you're running a lot. It helps fill in those nutrient gaps, especially when you're busy with school and workouts. I took one while cutting last summer, and it made a difference for me.

If you're running all the time, why not skip the creatine? You won't need it as much since it's more for lifting. Just stick to good protein and carbs to fuel those runs.

I have to disagree with that! Creatine can still be beneficial for endurance, it helps with recovery between sprints or intervals. Don't discount it just because you're a runner. Balance is key!

Ngl, if you're doing calisthenics too, adding some BCAAs could help with recovery. I use them after my street workouts and it really makes a difference! Plus, they taste good.

For real! Creatine is the GOAT for budget supps. And, like, don't sleep on a good protein powder; it's clutch for post-run recovery, especially with all that cardio you're doing.

Great points! Just remember to listen to your body, especially when balancing studies and fitness. If you're feeling run down, don't hesitate to take a rest day and reset. A little self-care goes a long way!

Caffeine is a nice boost but don't overdo it! It can mess with your sleep if you're not careful. Trust me, I learned the hard way when I was hitting late-night workouts.

Bro, you're tryna balance being a student and a lifter? That's a recipe for some serious gains! Just remember, cardio doesn't burn pizza calories, so keep that in mind when you snack.

Honestly, if you want to be a true gym bro, just get a tub of whey and call it a day. This isn't rocket science, just eat big, lift big, and then chill out with some ashwagandha, right?
