Looking for high-protein vegan post-workout recipes!

TL;DR: Searching for high-protein vegan post-workout recipes.

I'm always on the hunt for delicious, high-protein vegan recipes to refuel after my workouts. I usually lift heavy, so I need something substantial! I love dishes that are budget-friendly, high-volume, and packed with nutrients. Any recommendations for recipes that fit this criteria? I'd really appreciate the ingredients, steps, and any macro breakdown if possible!

I'm all about numbers, and you can't skip protein! A good option is tempeh stir-fry; it packs a whopping 31g of protein per cup! Plus, it cooks up quick, which is perfect after a heavy lift.

Ngl, i started making protein smoothies with pea protein and spinach after my workouts. They taste great and are super quick! Just blend some banana, almond milk, and your protein powder, and you're good.

Squats and protein, what a combo! I feel like a good post-workout meal should also include some carbs. Have u thought about adding brown rice to your dishes? It's great for recovery!

100% agree with that! Carbs post-workout help with glycogen replenishment, especially after heavy lifting. I often pair my quinoa with roasted veggies for some extra vitamins and minerals too

I tried this quinoa-stuffed bell pepper recipe once, and it was actually pretty good. You stuff the peppers with quinoa, black beans, corn, and spices. It looks fancy, but it's really easy to make. I may have burned a few peppers tho

I gotta say, sometimes I just go for a big bowl of oatmeal with almond butter and a scoop of protein powder. It's not fancy, but it works. And hey, my kids love it too, so I'm winning!

I've been into making a hearty lentil stew after workouts. It's filling, super nutritious, and you can make a big batch for the week. Just throw in some veggies and spices, and you're all set!

I love high-protein vegan meals after lifting! One of my favorites is a chickpea salad with quinoa, spinach, and tahini dressing. It's packed with protein and keeps me full for hours. Plus, it's super budget-friendly!

THIS!! If you're lifting heavy, you NEED to refuel with quality protein. Try a lentil and quinoa bowl, you can hit around 30g of protein in one serving! Don't skip on those macros post-workout!

A solid macro breakdown is essential. If you're looking at protein, aim for about 25-30g per meal. Mixing beans, legumes, and grains will help you hit that mark easily without spending too much.

You know, there's nothing wrong with quick and easy meals post-workout. You can also try hummus with whole grain pita and veggies. It's not high in protein like others, but it's delicious and keeps you going.

Chickpeas are a solid choice. You can also try making a black bean and sweet potato burrito bowl. Black beans have about 15g protein per cup and sweet potatoes add extra nutrients and flavor. It's a win-win.
