F62, finally got lean for the first time in my life, how do i maintain this progress?
Hello, wonderful community. I am a 61-year-old retired teacher, and I've been lifting for fun over the years. Recently, I achieved something quite special. After a dedicated effort over the last eight months, I finally got lean for the first time in my life! I went from 165 pounds to 135 pounds and saw a noticeable change in my body composition. The difference is incredible, and I can hardly believe it.
I have been consistent with a mix of weightlifting and a balanced diet. I made sure to track my macros and focused on whole foods. Seeing my before and after photos truly makes me proud. I'm sharing them here in hopes of inspiring others who might feel it's too late to start.
Now that I've reached this milestone, I find myself wondering how to maintain this progress. I don't want to revert back to my old habits. What strategies do you all use to stay motivated and keep the momentum going? Any tips on keeping the weight off while still enjoying life? I truly appreciate any advice you can offer, as I'm eager to make this my new normal
