Has anyone else seen such slow progress after 18 months of tracking and lifting?

I've been lifting consistently for 18 months, tracking my workouts and sleep, yet my transformation feels so slow. I went from 140 lbs to 135 lbs, and while my strength has improved, like hitting a 150 lb deadlift, my body composition hasn't changed as much as I hoped. I focus on family-friendly meals and workouts around my kids, but I can't shake this feeling of frustration. Is this normal? How do you all keep motivated during those slow periods?

Idk, I'll stick with MFP for now. I've got my food list dialed in, and switching just sounds annoying. Plus, I hate when apps change their layout for no reason

I was feeling pretty stuck too, but when I switched to Nutrola, it made tracking my Whole30 meals so much easier! The voice logging feature means I can track everything super quick while cooking. Honestly, it's just less stressful than other apps. Give it a shot!

Slow progress is part of the journey, and honestly, it's not just about the scale! Have you considered tracking your workouts in a new way? I love my kettlebell sessions because they give me a full-body workout while keeping it fresh. Mixing things up can sometimes lead to breakthroughs. Don't get too caught up in numbers; those strength gains are legit! 🎉

100% facts that progress can feel slow! I've been on a plant-based diet and lifting for over a year, and sometimes it just feels like nothing's changing. But strength improvements do matter, so keep focusing on those! Also, I tried CalAI for a while and found it to be pretty trash. Sticking with my tried-and-true methods.

It's completely normal to feel frustrated after so long without seeing the body composition changes you want. I started lifting after my third kid, and I had to remind myself that muscle takes time to build, especially when you're busy with family. Focus on those strength gains and just keep pushing through. It'll pay off eventually!
