As a veteran marathoner, I've seen my share of hunger pangs after long runs, but postpartum hunger is on another level. The cravings hit like a freight train and staying on track with macros feels nearly impossible. I know nutrition is crucial for recovery, but damn, it's tough when you're exhausted and just want to snack.
I've been experimenting with nutrient timing, aiming for higher protein intake to keep me satiated longer. What's been your experience with this? I've found that planning meals ahead of time helps, but some days, I just can't resist the urge to graze on everything in sight.
