5 meals vs 3 meals with the same macros, which is better for lifts and recovery?

I've been experimenting with eating 5 meals a day versus just 3, while keeping the same macros for each. It feels like both approaches have their perks, but I'm curious about what others have experienced with lifts and recovery. Anyone found one way works better for them over 4 weeks? Would love to hear your thoughts!

I used to swear by 5 meals a day, but honestly, I switched back to 3 because I felt less bloated during my lifts. Felt like I could push more weight without feeling heavy. Plus, meal prep for 3 is way easier. Just my two cents.

I'm all about those 3 meals for the dad life. I can barely juggle work and kids, let alone prep 5 meals. My lifting gains are solid too, just gotta get my protein in at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's like a routine now, and that makes it easier to stick with!

I hear you, but I've found that spreading meals out helped me recover better, especially after long runs. More frequent fueling really seems to help with muscle repair for me. It might not be for everyone, but it works for my marathon training. Keeping an eye on what I eat is still important, though

Facts. I prefer 5 meals because it helps me hit my protein goals without feeling stuffed. I mix in protein shakes too, so it's pretty chill. Keep my energy steady throughout the day.

Dude, I can't imagine eating 5 meals. I work night shifts, and I barely keep up with 3. I lift to unwind, and honestly, I just want to eat and sleep. All these macros can be overwhelming sometimes.

LOL, can we get a meal plan that's just pizza? This is a major dilemma. But for real, I think it depends on ur lifestyle. Some folks thrive on 5 meals, but if u don't need it, keep it simple, you know?

Ngl, I tried both and the 5 meals felt like a full-time job. Meal prepping was a nightmare. I thought I would feel better with more meals but it just added stress to my day. Just let me run and eat pizza, lol.
