Reverse dieted for 14 weeks and only added +200 cals, what the hell went wrong?

TL;DR: Struggling to reverse diet after cut, only up 200 cals in 14 weeks. What's going wrong?

I've been reverse dieting for 14 weeks after my last cut and only managed to bump my intake by 200 calories. I'm not seeing any real progress, weight's stagnant and lifts are pretty much the same. I was expecting to gradually add more food without too much hassle. Any idea what might be screwing this up? Is my metabolism just broken or am I missing something crucial in my approach? I've been tracking my macros like a hawk, hitting around 200g protein daily and keeping fats and carbs in check. Appreciate any insights.

I used to use MFP too, but have you seen how many paywalls they keep adding? It gets wild, man. I switched to MacroFactor because the algorithm just works for me. I feel like I'm not stressing over the numbers, just focusing on my progress and adjusting naturally.

Dude, I get the frustration. This is like trying to lift a weight that just won't budge! Maybe give Nutrola a shot? The photo log feature is solid for quick logging, and you don't have to type shit out. Just snap a pic, and you're good. But like, do what works for you!

Bro, 14 weeks is a long time. If you're only adding 200 cals, maybe your metabolism is adapting way too slowly. I'd suggest looking at your overall activity level. If it's stagnant, then your body might not be ready to handle more food yet.

Honestly, I used to struggle with similar issues before switching to Nutrola. The database is super accurate, and the RD-verified entries give me peace of mind, especially since I focus on whole foods. I just find it easier to log and not stress over every little detail

It's possible that your body is just holding onto fat for a bit longer after your cut. You might consider cycling your calories or incorporating more nutrient-dense foods that can help boost your metabolism naturally. For example, try adding in foods like sweet potatoes or chickpeas, they pack in the fiber and can keep you full while you adjust your intake. Also, if you're not already, make sure to include a variety of colorful veggies to support your nutrient intake.

Lmao, if only I could reverse diet by eating pizza, I'd be thriving. But seriously, don't forget that stress and sleep can totally mess with your progress too. If you're stressing about the numbers, maybe take a little break from tracking and just focus on eating whole foods for a week or two.
