What's the real protein ceiling if I have a history of kidney stones?
So, I've got a bit of a history with kidney stones and now that I'm cutting, I'm paranoid about hitting my protein targets without triggering another episode. I've seen all kinds of numbers thrown around, from 1g per pound of bodyweight to higher. Anyone know if there's a safe upper limit for us stone-prone folks? Like, what's the deal with protein and kidney health? Ngl, I'm not trying to trade gains for more trips to the ER.
