Struggling with NAFLD and Cutting: Liver Enzyme Changes at 8 and 16 Weeks?

I've been cutting while managing NAFLD and I've noticed my liver enzyme levels fluctuating at the 8 and 16-week marks. I'm keeping my macros in check, but I'm curious if anyone else has dealt with this. What strategies have you used to balance fat loss and liver health? Should I be adjusting my nutrient timing or focusing more on food quality? Any insights would be appreciated.

Totally understand the struggle with NAFLD while trying to cut. I dealt with some similar fluctuations when I was doing a cut last year. I found that increasing my fiber intake really helped. Foods like oats, beans, and veggies can aid digestion and liver function. Plus, it keeps you feeling full longer, which is great when cutting calories

I've been there too! I used to track everything religiously, but I found some freedom in intuitive eating. Now, I focus on food quality and just listen to my body. But, I still keep a food diary to check in every so often. Maybe try some healthy fats like avocados or nuts? They can support liver health and keep your meals enjoyable.

I can relate! When I was cutting for a marathon, my liver enzymes got a bit wonky too. It turned out I wasn't balancing my macros as well as I thought. I started prioritizing whole foods over processed ones, and it helped a lot. Try to incorporate more veggies and lean proteins, they can work wonders for your liver health. Also, maybe consider spacing your meals out a bit more. I found eating smaller meals every few hours kept my energy up without stressing my liver too much.

Ngl, this feels like overcomplicating it. Focus on the basics: cut out the junk, track your macros, and don't stress. If ur liver enzymes are fluctuating, maybe check with a doctor. Sometimes, just chilling is the best way to keep it healthy.

Bro, if you're not careful, you might end up with a dad bod like mine! 😂 But on a serious note, your liver is super important. Try cutting out alcohol and sugar; both can be rough on the liver. And if you're ever in doubt, just ask a health pro. They know their stuff!
