Anyone else dealing with autism and food issues? How do you hit your macros?
So I've been lifting for a couple years and recently realized my autism's messing with my food game. I struggle with sensory issues around certain textures and flavors, so hitting my protein and macro targets has been a pain. Tried a bunch of trendy diets and complex meal plans, but honestly, they just made it worse. I stick to basics now, simple meals I can tolerate, easy to prep, and don't make me freak out. Anyone found solid strategies or foods that actually work for this? Would love to hear what's helped you guys!
For reference, here's what I usually aim for:
| Macro | Target |
|---|---|
| Protein | 150g |
| Carbs | 250g |
| Fats | 70g |
Keep it real, just trying to keep things straightforward without the fluff.
