How do I improve my snatch and clean technique? Any tips for a newbie?
Hey coaches! I'm a total newbie in Olympic lifting and I really want to nail my snatch and clean techniques. I've been watching videos and trying to replicate them, but I feel like I'm missing some key points. I can lift okay weight, but I want my form to be spot on.
A few things I struggle with:
- My grip feels awkward. How do I get a better hold?
- I'm not sure when to engage my legs versus my back.
- What are some common mistakes to avoid as a beginner?
I'm super excited to get better, and breakfast is my fave meal so I'm all about those gains! Any tips would be so appreciated!
