Strava Year in Review: Who's Hitting Their Goals?

TL;DR: Strava Year in Review got me hyped! Who else hit their goals this year?

Just checked out my Strava Year in Review and I'm feeling pretty pumped about my progress. Logged 1,200 miles this year, which is a solid increase from last year's 950. Tried to focus on mixing up my training with more zone 2 runs and some HIIT workouts to build endurance.

I wanna hear from you guys, though. How did your year go? Anyone smash their goals or hit some PRs? Let's share our journeys and motivate each other for next year!

Wow, that's impressive! I only hit around 600 miles, but I focused more on strength training this year. Trying to balance lifting with cardio is always a challenge, but I'm feeling stronger than ever!

You all inspire me! I've been trying to incorporate more whole foods into my diet. Yogurt bowls with fruit are my go-to after runs. Balancing workouts and nutrition is tricky but so rewarding.

I can't meditate while running, but I daydream about pizza the whole time 😂. I managed about 500 miles this year, but I'm more about enjoying the run and the post-run pizza! What's your go-to post-run meal?

It's wonderful to hear everyone's achievements! Each journey is so unique, and I find that practicing mindfulness while exercising really enhances my experience. I love focusing on my breath during runs, which helps me stay present and connected to my body. Have you tried any meditative techniques while running?

Bro, if pizza is wrong, I don't want to be right. Just hit 600 pounds on my deadlift this year too, so gotta reward myself, ya know? Run and lift, eat pizza, repeat.

Yogurt bowls are the best! I like to add granola and honey for a little extra sweetness. It's like dessert after a workout! Anyone have a favorite recipe?

Yeah, man, but if you're running that much, are you even lifting? Can't just be a cardio bunny. Gotta hit the weights too.

1,200 miles? Bro, that's sick! I barely run 5 miles without dying.

That's awesome! i ran my first half marathon this year and clocked about 800 miles. It was tough, but I loved every moment of it. What's been ur favorite run this year?

1,200 miles is solid, but how much of that was just easy running? Zone 2 training is great, but you gotta push yourself too. Don't forget about strength work in your routine.

I hear you, but I think you can actually combine both. I've been doing hybrid training for a while. Lifting + running helps with muscle retention and endurance. I PR'd my squat while still hitting my running goals this year.

Congrats on the mileage! I tracked my runs too and managed a total of 1,100 miles. I focused on improving my speed with intervals, which helped me shave off some time from my 5K. It's all about finding what works for you, right?
