Anyone else struggling with zone 2 training? Feels like I'm just running in slow-mo!

TL;DR: Zone 2 cardio sucks, looking for tips.

I've been trying to get my zone 2 cardio game on point but honestly, it feels like I'm just running a marathon at snail speed. I'm more of a lift-heavy kinda gal, so this cardio stuff is a whole different beast! Any tips on how to not hate every second of it? Or is this just how it goes?

I get it, I was a lifter too, then I dove into cardio. It felt awkward at first, but I realized zone 2 training has its benefits. Think of it like building a foundation, so when you're lifting heavy, your endurance will be on point. I started with a mix of short runs and bike rides. Just find a rhythm that works for you, and you might actually start to enjoy it.

You'd be surprised how many lifters struggle with cardio. Just give it time and try different methods. Cycling or swimming can be easier on the joints, so maybe mix those in. And hydration is key, especially if you're adjusting to a new routine!

Zone 2 training isn't just a phase, it's a part of the process. When I first started, I struggled too, but now I can push through longer sessions with ease. It builds your aerobic capacity, which helps with lifting. Plus, your recovery times improve. So keep at it!

Yeah, cardio can be a total buzzkill sometimes, but you can make it fun. I do my zone 2 runs while exploring new trails or parks, just to keep things fresh. Plus, it's cool to discover new spots while sweating.

Facts. If you're coming from lifting, zone 2 feels super easy, but that's the point. It's not about going all out; it's about building endurance. Try tracking your heart rate during sessions. It can help keep you focused on the right intensity.

You mentioned feeling like it's slow, but that's the whole point! If you go too hard, you're not in zone 2 anymore. Just keep a steady pace and focus on your breathing. It might feel frustrating, but you'll be grateful for it when you see those PRs later.

The struggle is real! But think about how much better you'll perform when lifting. Incorporating cardio into your routine isn't just about burning calories; it improves blood flow and helps with recovery. It's a win-win

Ngl, zone 2 is a different beast, but it can be so beneficial. Just think of it as cardio for your heart, like weight training for your muscles. i combine it with a plant-based diet, and I notice a huge difference in my stamina. Plus, it keeps my energy levels consistent throughout the day. It can suck at first, but the gains are real!

You're not alone! Zone 2 can feel super tedious, but try to mix in some fun activities. I often switch it up with hiking or dancing to keep it fresh. Also, make sure you're focusing on your breathing and posture, it can make a world of difference. Don't forget to stretch afterwards, helps with recovery too!

Lowkey, I used to hate cardio, but now I see it as an essential sidekick. Like Batman needs Robin! I started adding fun challenges like running with friends or setting little goals. It makes everything feel more rewarding.

Seriously though, if you're running at a snail's pace, you might as well just walk. My thoughts on zone 2? Find a hill and run up it, then walk down. That way, at least you're doing something instead of just trudging along.

Honestly, cardio on a budget can be tough! I usually hit up the local track or just run around campus. If you don't have a gym, jump rope or do bodyweight circuits. At least then you're not stuck doing boring long runs all the time

Broski, I'm pretty sure cardio is just a way to make us suffer. But like, I respect it for what it is. Gotta do what we gotta do, right?

Bro, I feel you. Zone 2 is like the keto of cardio, super low-key but effective. You could try listening to podcasts or audiobooks to make the time fly. Or hit up some interval sprints after your zone 2 to spice it up. Just make it work for you, no pressure!

Ain't that the truth? Zone 2 feels like running to get pizza, but at the speed of a turtle. But like pizza, it's all about the toppings. Mix in some fun music or a good podcast, and suddenly, it's not so bad
