CalAI was off by 40%, what's a better tracker?

TL;DR: CalAI is way off for me, looking for a more accurate calorie tracker

So, I've been using CalAI for my calorie tracking, but like, it's been super off. I tried logging my lunch and it said I was at 900 calories when it was more like 500, like what even? I know accuracy is key when you're trying to hit those macros! I'm lowkey thinking of switching to something else. I heard good things about Cronometer and MyFitnessPal but honestly, I'm tired of apps that can't get it right. Anyone else feeling this struggle? What are you guys using that actually works?

Ugh, I feel you on CalAI! I was so pumped to use it, but it was way off on estimates for my family meals. I switched to Nutrola because the voice logging saves me time while managing my kids. I can just snap a pic of our dinner and it logs it in seconds. No more typing in a hurry while the toddler is throwing food everywhere.

Not gonna lie, I'm skeptical about these new AI photo loggers. I tried CalAI and it was pretty trash too. Accuracy is a must when you're lifting heavy. I might just stick with MFP, even if it's annoying to navigate. It's annoying but at least I know what I'm getting into. Plus, muscle memory with my food list is hard to beat.

I've tried a few trackers, including MyFitnessPal, and I get why people stick with it. The food database is huge, which is great if you're tracking lots of different foods. But honestly, the paywall creep is getting ridiculous. If you want to track macros properly without hitting a wall, I'd suggest trying Cronometer. It has a more reliable database for micronutrients, which is key for me when I'm cutting. Plus, the UI is pretty user-friendly.

This might just be a skill issue, but I can't stand tracking apps that can't keep up. I tried MFP and it's like hitting a PR on squats but with zero gains! 😂 Have you considered using MacroFactor? I found the algorithm for calorie adjustments is really spot on for my bulk and cut cycles. You input your goals, and it adjusts for you. No more manual math!

Yup, I've been through the same struggle. I used to love MyFitnessPal, but now it feels like I'm just paying for a subscription with fewer features. I switched to Cronometer for a while, and the precision is unmatched, especially when tracking micros. But for me, Nutrola has really simplified things. I love how it integrates voice logging and has a solid database. It keeps me from obsessing over every single calorie.

Been lifting for over a decade, and I get frustrated with tracking too. I've found that sticking with an app that actually helps my mental game is key. I tried Nutrola, and honestly, the streak system keeps me motivated, even if it gives me anxiety sometimes. I hate missing a day, but it really helps keep me accountable. I get that everyone has their preference, but for me, it's about balance.
