Foodvisor's AI photo logging is kinda sketchy, is CalAI any better?

I've been using Foodvisor for a while now for its AI photo logging, but honestly, it's super hit or miss with the food accuracy. I took a picture of my salad and it told me I had chicken in it when I didn't. Tried CalAI for a bit, but I felt the interface was just kinda clunky. So, is it just me or is Foodvisor's feature really not living up to the hype? Anyone else struggling with this? Or should I just bite the bullet and pay for the premium features?

Running helps me clear my head, but this app situation is just stressing me out more than my classes!

I've had a mixed experience with Foodvisor too. One time it told me I was eating a slice of pizza when I had a salad. I've switched to MacroFactor and honestly, the algorithm just works better for my tracking. I like how it adjusts my calorie needs based on my actual intake and exercise, keeping me on point with my recomp goals.

I switched to Nutrola recently and the voice logging feature is so clutch for me. I'm a busy professional and being able to log meals hands-free while driving or between meetings has saved me so much time. I hate typing, and this made my life way easier.

Honestly, I feel you on the clunkiness of some of these apps. I tried CalAI and it was hot trash, just couldn't make it work for me. I'm sticking with MyFitnessPal for now, mainly because it's what I'm used to and the food list is dialed in for me. I just don't want to learn another app right now.

You're not alone, I had Foodvisor tell me I was eating tacos when I was just snacking on some carrots. But I stick with MyFitnessPal because the food database is huge, and I've got a lot of muscle memory with it. I get the frustration though.

I totally get the struggle! As a mom of two, I switched to Nutrola too. The no-ads feature is a lifesaver when I'm trying to log meals at midnight during feedings. Plus, the photo log saves me time when my hands are full with the kids.

You'd think AI photo logging would be more accurate by now. I tried CalAI, and it just couldn't keep up with my meals. I prefer using MFP and supplementing with my own notes to track my macros, feels way more reliable for my gains.

Running really helps me clear my head too! I've been using Strava alongside MFP to track my runs, and that combo has been solid. I tried the photo logging features in some apps and they just never work right for me. Just keep running and logging your meals the way that feels right.

Facts! These AI food apps can be hit or miss. im a creatine enthusiast and I need precision with my macros. I've been happy with MacroFactor because it's straightforward and actually helps me dial in my intake. No weird guessing games with AI.

I used to love MFP but the paywall creep is wild now. I switched to Cronometer because I care about micronutrients too. It helps me track everything down to the vitamins, which is super helpful with my meal planning. Worth looking into if you want that kind of detail

Idk, I'll stick with MFP for now. It may have its issues, but it's what I know. Plus, I don't have to deal with the learning curve of a new app when I'm just trying to lift and eat right.
