Anyone else feeling stuck on progressive overload lately?

TL;DR: Looking for tips on overcoming plateaus in my nSuns program.

I'm a 40-year-old mom of two and I've been loving my barbell training, but I feel like I've hit a plateau with my lifts. I've been doing the nSuns program and while I know plateaus are normal, I'm starting to feel frustrated. I know I need to keep pushing for that overload, but what strategies do you all use when you hit a wall? Do you switch exercises, adjust volume, or maybe take a deload? I could use some advice!

I totally understand how you feel! I was stuck for a while too, but then I switched my focus to improving my form and range of motion. It made such a difference in my lifts. Also, adding in some accessory work really helped me break through my plateau.

Ngl, i've hit plateaus too! Try mixing in some higher volume workouts or different rep ranges. It's crazy how a small change can lead to some sick gains. Let's get those lifts moving!

Caffeine can help with those tough workouts! I swear by my pre-workout, plus it gives me that extra push when I'm feeling stuck. It's all about that mental game too, so keep your head up and stay focused!

Plateaus are frustrating, but they are part of the game. Have you tried microloading? Sometimes just a small increase in weight can make a huge difference. You can also look at your rest periods; maybe you need to give yourself a bit more time to recover.

I suggest keeping a training log. It's a great way to track your progress and see if you're really plateauing or just being too hard on yourself. Also, consider deloading; sometimes our bodies just need a break to come back stronger. Plus, organizing your workout space can really help with motivation!

Have you tried protein pancakes? They're not just tasty but also great for recovery. Just saying, carbs and protein can make a difference in how u feel in the gym. You might just need to refuel a bit better!

Skill issue. 馃槀 But for real, I feel like I hit a wall at least once every few months. I find that switching to a different program for a cycle helps. Trying a new style like GZCL or even just a few weeks of higher reps can shock your muscles back into growth.
