Stuck at 405 on deadlifts for 6 months, any ideas?

Been grinding at 405 for a solid half a year now, and it feels like my deadlift is just... on vacation. i've tried different rep schemes and a deload, but nothing's moving. Anyone got some tips or memes to help break this plateau? My pizza is getting jealous of my gains.

Skill issue. 😂 But for real, mixing in some lighter days or tempo work can help shock your system! Maybe try some speed deadlifts to get that explosiveness back

Sounds like you're really putting in the effort, but hitting a plateau can be frustrating. Have you considered changing your assistance work? Sometimes focusing on weak points, like your grip or back strength, can give you that extra edge. Incorporate some deficit deadlifts or Romanian deadlifts into your routine, and see if that helps get the numbers moving again.

I get it, I've been there! As a mom balancing workouts and kids, sometimes I just can't push through. But when I hit a plateau, I focus on my nutrition. Are you tracking what you eat? Ensuring you have the right macros can make a big difference, especially protein. And don't underestimate the power of rest days, they can really help you reset your strength.

This is so relatable! I hit a similar wall last year with my squats. I started including more core work, and it made a difference. Also, don't forget to eat those healthy snacks to support recovery, something like Greek yogurt with fruit works wonders

Facts, man. You might be overtraining and not even realize it. If you've been grinding hard for 6 months, maybe consider a longer deload or even a full week off. Come back fresh and see how that 1RM feels. Don't want to keep chasing those numbers if you're burnt out.
