What supplements should desk job lifters focus on?

TL;DR: Looking for supplement recommendations for desk job lifters to improve energy and performance.

I've been working a desk job and lifting consistently, but I feel like my energy and performance are a bit off lately. I know there are a lot of supplements out there, and I'm curious about what others think are essential for someone like me. Should I focus on creatine, beta-alanine, or something like ashwagandha to help with stress and recovery? What has worked best for you? I want to make the most of my limited time at the gym.

Honestly, I tried a bunch of stuff over the years. I was skeptical about creatine at first, but that stuff really kicked my energy levels up. I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel like I was running on empty sometimes, but creatine helped get through those workouts when my soul wanted to quit. Like, I was definitely lifting through existential dread

Also, a quick hot take: don't buy into all the hype with supplements. You can't just throw money at the problem. Real progress comes from hard work and a good plan. And if your recovery sucks, that's on you, not the supplements.

A good rest day is underrated. I like to do some light yoga to stretch out after sitting all day, but I also agree with what others said about hydration. Keep those water bottles nearby while you work!

lowkey, if you're stressing about your desk job, maybe consider taking a walk during lunch. Nothing like some fresh air to clear your head, and it's better than staring at a screen.

As someone who works in healthcare and understands the demands of a desk job, I recommend focusing on omega-3s and magnesium. Both help with muscle recovery and managing stress levels. Staying hydrated is also crucial, especially if you're sitting for long periods.

this! also, don't forget to lift heavy and eat your protein. Desk job or not, let's not skip leg day!

You know what they say, sitting is the new smoking! I've found a good fish oil supplement helps with my joints after all those deadlifts. But honestly, if your energy is low, check those macros too, buddy. You can't out-supplement a bad diet.

I'm all about the creatine and beta-alanine combo for those tough sessions! Helps push through plateaus and hit PRs. Also, stress management is key, so ashwagandha isn't a bad idea either.

Bro, you should try some calisthenics to mix it up! It helps with mobility and gets ur blood flowing. No need for heavy supplements when you can just use your body weight. Push-ups and pull-ups, easy peasy!

Just make sure to keep your workouts intense! I love incorporating WODs that get my heart rate up and build strength at the same time. That way, you're not just lifting, but you're actually feeling that burn and improving your endurance.
