Should i worry about ashwagandha and DHT levels?

TL;DR: Wondering if ashwagandha raises DHT levels and if that's a worry.

I've been taking ashwagandha for a while now to help with stress and recovery, but I've heard some chatter about it possibly increasing DHT levels. im all about that evidence-based approach and wanna make sure I'm not messing with my hormones. Anyone else looked into this? Should I be concerned?

This is a good question! I've been using ashwagandha too for stress relief and recovery, but I've never looked into its effect on DHT. If you find solid evidence, let me know! I'd hate to mess with my hormones.

Omg, if you're taking ashwagandha, it's like a chill pill for your gains! But yeah, if u're super worried about hormones, maybe switch to some greens or try a different adaptogen. Like, have you tried rhodiola? Super nice! 馃槉

I've been taking ashwagandha for stress and recovery too, and I haven't noticed any issues. But I think it's a good idea to check your DHT levels if you're concerned. You know, you could ask your doc for a simple blood test. Just a thought!

Facts! Hormones can be a slippery slope. Just keep an eye on your body's changes! If you notice anything weird, maybe time to reevaluate your stack. Stay swole!

I totally get the concern about DHT levels, especially since it can impact hair loss. I did some research and found a study showing that ashwagandha might actually help reduce stress-induced increases in DHT. Still, everyone reacts differently, so keep track of how you feel and your body's response. I would recommend monitoring your levels if you're really worried about it.

Lmao, honestly if I worried about every supplement's side effect, I'd still be on just water and chicken! But yeah, maybe check in with a doc if you're really paranoid. Otherwise, enjoy those stress-free gains!

I understand the concern about DHT, but there's limited evidence linking ashwagandha directly to increased levels. Many people take it without issues. Just be aware of how your body feels and monitor any changes in hair or skin. Balance is key!

Oh honey, when I was younger, I tried every supplement under the sun! Some worked wonders, and others? Not so much. Ashwagandha can have different effects on different people. I'd say if you're not experiencing any side effects, it might be worth continuing, but definitely do your research. Always better to be safe!

Bro, ashwagandha might not be the devil you think. DHT increases? Sure, but the real concern is how it affects you individually. Just because someone said it on the internet doesn't mean it's true! Keep lifting and focus on your diet.

Ngl, ashwagandha is one of those supplements that's gotten a lot of hype lately. Some studies show it can actually help with stress management and recovery without messing with DHT. I'd say give it a shot, but maybe rotate off it every now and then. Just my two cents!
