Is shilajit really boosting testosterone levels or is this just bro science?

i've been hearing a lot of buzz about shilajit being a miracle supplement for boosting testosterone. Some claim it's this ancient wonder that magically increases your T levels, but is there actual science behind it? So, I dove into the research and here's what I found.

A study published in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology in 2016 showed that shilajit did indeed increase testosterone levels in rats, but we have to remember, rats aren't humans. Another study in the Journal of Medicinal Food in 2022 found that shilajit supplementation improved testosterone levels in a small group of male participants over a period of 90 days. The sample size was only 75, so it's not exactly conclusive, plus the methodology was a bit shaky. Both studies are promising, but they're still early-stage.

Let's be real, most of us want reliable methods for increasing testosterone without getting caught up in questionable supplements. Weightlifting, quality sleep, and solid nutrition still reign supreme. Shilajit might have some benefits, but let's not put all our eggs in one basket just yet. Anyone else tried it and noticed any changes?

I love how you broke down the studies! 🍳 I'm always looking for ways to improve my lifts, but I'm with you on the whole weightlifting, sleep, and nutrition front. Maybe shilajit has some minor benefits, but I'm not giving up my pancakes for it!

Honestly, shilajit sounds cool, but it's not going to replace a solid training plan. I've been powerlifting for years, and nothing beats hard work and dedication. If anyone is looking for real results, just stick to progressive overload and getting your form right.

So like, I tried shilajit for a couple weeks, and I didn't rly notice anything. My T levels are still chilling at the same spot, lol. Maybe I should just stick to my pizza and gym time.

i've heard some buzz about shilajit too! Honestly, I'm all about those tried-and-true methods like lifting and sleep. My buddy tried shilajit for a month and said he felt no difference, but he still crushed his PRs. So who knows? Maybe it's just another fad.

The studies are definitely interesting, but the sample sizes are way too small to draw real conclusions. 75 guys for a supplement that's supposed to have huge benefits? I mean, c'mon. I prefer sticking with proven stuff like creatine or even a solid diet plan. Numbers don't lie.

This shilajit talk is just another example of bro science, lol. i mean, what's next? Magic protein powder? I've seen guys in the gym downing all sorts of stuff, but real gains come from hard work, not potions. Just saying.

So, I've read some research on shilajit as well. It has fulvic acid and minerals that could be beneficial, but the hype is definitely ahead of the science. For me, I'd rather focus on my macro ratios and proper recovery. It's all about the basics, not chasing trends.

I feel like all these supplements are just a distraction from the real grind. Just eat your veggies and lift, man. If I had a dime for every miracle pill, I could retire on a beach. Keep it real, folks.
