Look, I get it, scrolling through Insta and seeing juice cleanses and detox teas makes you feel like you gotta hit reset. But seriously, do we really need to detox? Studies show our liver is like the ultimate detox machine, handling all the bad stuff while we munch on snacks (Nutritional Biochemistry, 2017). Like, it's basically a superhero, not some overworked janitor. So why are people still trying to outsmart their own liver? Detox diets have no real scientific backing and can mess you up. Anyone else tired of the detox nonsense?
