Is creatine safe to take forever or what? Need some clarity!

Yo, so I've been smashing creatine for years now, but I keep hearing people say it's bad for your kidneys or something if you take it long-term. I mean, I've read studies like the one from the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research that show long-term use is safe for healthy folks, but still, I wanna know if I should chill on it at some point. Anyone got the lowdown on this? What's the actual safety data say? Hit me up with the facts!

I'm vegetarian and still love creatine! I use the mono version because it's affordable and effective. My workouts have improved so much since I started taking it.

Honestly, if you're taking it properly and following recommended dosages, you're probably fine. But again, listen to your body! Some people respond differently, and that's cool.

When I first started lifting, I freaked out about creatine too! But it's all chill. Just stay hydrated and listen to your body. If your pee starts looking like apple juice, maybe take a break. 😂

Yeah, there's a lot of myths about creatine. Most studies show it's safe for healthy individuals, and the kidney concerns mostly come from people with pre-existing conditions. Just make sure to stay hydrated and you should be good.

I've been using creatine for over a decade and never had any kidney issues. It's actually one of the most researched supplements out there. Just remember, if you have any kidney problems, maybe check with your doc first.

Yeah, but don't forget, some people think creatine will turn them into the Hulk overnight. If only it was that easy, right? Lmao.

If creatine was really that bad, don't you think every gym bro would be kidney-less by now? 😂 Just keep smashing it unless u notice any issues. Otherwise, it's just another supplement in your stack.

Creatine is legit! I cycle it with my training phases. It's awesome for strength gains. If you're training hard, it's not something you wanna ditch unless you really have to.

As a busy mom who lifts, i can tell you creatine really helps with my recovery. I just try to keep my intake consistent and stay mindful of hydration, especially with all the kids running around.

I think there's a lot of misinformation out there about creatine, especially concerning vegan or vegetarian diets. A lot of people think you can't build muscle without animal protein, but that's not true! Creatine helps enhance muscle recovery, so it's great for everyone. Plus, plant-based diets can be rich in nutrients that support overall health.

So true! i had a friend who thought taking more creatine would make him lift heavier, but he just ended up feeling bloated. It's all about finding what works for you!

Have you tried adding it to pancakes? 🍽️ Just mix it in with your protein pancakes, and it's like sneaky gains while enjoying breakfast. But for real, just keep an eye on how you feel.
