How do you guys manage hunger while cutting without feeling like a zombie?

TL;DR: Struggling with hunger during my cut, need tips on managing it without binging.

i'm 22F and have been cutting for a bit, and honestly, I'm always a little tired. I hate long runs, but I love short sprints, so I'm trying to balance cardio with my calorie deficit. Any tips on keeping that hunger monster in check? Like, how do you refeed without going full-on binge mode? I can't be the only one dealing with this struggle!

Cutting has its ups and downs. One week i'm vibing, next week I'm just wanting a pizza. If you need to refeed, just do it! Moderation is key; don't be hard on yourself. That guilt won't help

Honestly, you just gotta find what works for you! I've been cutting on a budget, so I rely on canned beans and oats. They're filling and super cheap, plus you can mix them up in so many ways.

Listen, cutting is tough. I think you should reconsider how much cardio you're doing; too much can drain your energy. A good balance of weights and sprints will keep your metabolism up while building muscle.

You could try intermittent fasting. It might sound weird, but it really helps with managing hunger. I find that if I stick to an 8-hour eating window, I'm not as tempted to snack all day.

Tracking macros is essential when cutting. Make sure you're focusing on high-volume, low-calorie foods like veggies, lean proteins, and whole grains. I like to bulk up meals with salads and steamed veggies, that way you can fill up without blowing your calorie budget.

Eating enough fiber can help a ton. Stuff like beans, lentils, and veggies will keep you feeling full longer, especially in a deficit. Plus, they're low-calorie, so you can eat a lot!

Meal prepping can save your sanity while cutting. I usually set aside a day to cook up meals for the week. You can mix and match proteins, carbs, and veggies so you don't get bored!

So true! I used to feel like a zombie too but adding a little more protein and some healthy fats really helped. I love making smoothie bowls with frozen berries, spinach, and a scoop of protein powder. It feels like a treat and keeps me full!

Facts! Protein shakes and low-cal snacks can be lifesavers. I usually keep some Chobani and fairlife on hand, plus a little nut butter for cravings. Just gotta be careful, those nut butters can sneak up on ya!

Don't forget about meal timing! If you space out your meals properly, you might not feel as hungry. i usually eat every 3-4 hours to keep my energy levels stable. Just don't skip meals; it can backfire.

Sprinting is a great way to burn calories without exhausting yourself! Mix in some interval training for cardio instead of long runs. Your body will respond better, and you'll still hit those fat-burning zones.

Skill issue. Just eat more chicken and stop whining! 馃槀 Seriously, though, refeed days are important. Just plan them so you're not going full binge mode. Think higher carbs but keep protein high too.
