Resting heart rate dropped 12 bpm in 6 months, is that normal?
So I've been training for about 3 years now, focusing on powerlifting but decided to add some cardio to the mix because why not? I've noticed my resting heart rate has dropped from 70 bpm to 58 bpm in just 6 months. I mean, I know it's usually a sign of improved fitness, but damn, 12 bpm seems like a lot!
I'm plant-based and all about those nutrient-dense foods, so I'm fueling my body right. Just curious if anyone else has experienced something similar or if I should be concerned. Like, do I need to see a doc or is my heart just getting super efficient? Because honestly, this shit is confusing!
