Is anyone else obsessed with high-protein oatmeal? Asking for a friend who hates cooking.

So, i've been whipping up this high-protein oatmeal that takes, like, 5 minutes max. Just mix 1 cup of oats, 1 scoop of protein powder (I go with vanilla for the vibes), and 1.5 cups of water or milk. Microwave that for 2-3 minutes, then top it with whatever you want - think peanut butter, banana, or even a lil' honey if you're feeling fancy. It's about 400 kcal, 30g protein, and totally fills you up post-run. So easy, even I can't mess it up! Why cook anything else?

Also, if you don't like oatmeal, we can't be friends.

High-protein oatmeal is a fantastic choice, especially for those on the go. By adding protein powder, you can significantly increase the protein content without a lot of hassle. I personally like to add a tablespoon of chia seeds for some healthy fats and fiber, which can help keep you full longer. Plus, those little seeds pack a nutritional punch! If your friend hates cooking, this is definitely a solid go-to.

Ngl, oatmeal is cool, but have you tried protein pancakes? Those are the real deal! You can whip them up quick, and they taste like a cheat meal. Just add some protein powder to your pancake mix and you're set. Just sayin'!

The macro breakdown you provided is really helpful. For anyone looking to track their intake, just make sure to account for any toppings you add. Peanut butter is great, but it can pack in a lot of calories fast. I usually weigh everything out to stay on top of my goals. Using a food scale makes a difference, trust me

If you're into quick meals, consider prepping a batch of oatmeal for the week. Just portion it out in containers. When you're short on time, just grab one and microwave! I also love adding Greek yogurt on top for even more protein. It's all about efficiency, right?

this! Seriously, cooking is overrated when you can just microwave oatmeal. I mean, who has time for gourmet meals? As long as it gets the job done post-run, im in

Oatmeal is a classic, but I actually prefer overnight oats for meal prep! You mix everything the night before, let it soak, and bam, breakfast is ready. Plus, you can customize flavors and make it fun! This just gets you hyped for the day ahead.

I've been doing something similar with oats and protein powder, and I love the versatility! You can throw in different fruits or nut butter based on your cravings. It really keeps things fresh. Not to mention, oatmeal is a great source of carbs for recovery after a workout. This is all about finding what fuels you!

Oatmeal is fine and all, but it's not the most filling option. I mean, you want something that's going to stick to your ribs, right? A high-protein breakfast is good, but if you want to pack on mass, consider more solid options. My go-to is always a big breakfast with eggs and toast. Just a thought

I think it's great that you're sharing this recipe! Oatmeal can be super nutritious if you balance it out. I'd recommend trying different protein powders too, like chocolate or even peanut butter flavor. It might open up new options. There's so much you can do with a simple bowl of oats!
